Independent player guide
Phantom Blade Zero, without the guesswork
The game is out. Most of what you will find online was written before anyone could play it, and almost none of it has been revisited since. Every claim here is labelled - checked against the retail build, reported from play, or still unverified - so you always know what you are standing on.
Start where you actually are
Four pages cover what people ask in their first week of playing. Everything else is downstream of these.

How this site labels claims
The whole premise of the site is one habit: say where each fact came from.
Every claim on this site carries one of three labels.
| Label | Means | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed | Stated by S-GAME, or readable on a live store listing today | The US price is $59.99 |
| Reported | Described the same way by several independent sources playing the retail build. Not official wording | What a boss's second phase does to you |
| Unconfirmed | Circulating widely, with no source behind it. Not treated as true here | That there are eight endings |
Why bother. The game released on 29 October 2026, and everything written before that date rested on previews. We spent 30 October checking our own pages against the retail build, and it was not a formality: two boss names turned out not to exist, one "unconfirmed" mechanic turned out to be real on the hardest mode, and a rematch mode we had described does not exist at all. Those corrections are on the corrections page, dated.
Who you are fighting
Over fifty in the retail build. Five have full write-ups, plus the formation phase that decides one of them.
What changed, and when
A guide is only as good as its last edit. Changes get logged here, not made silently.
- 20 Oct 2026 - Site published. Launch times verified against eight regional store listings. Price table built from live listings, replacing the $62.99 figure circulating elsewhere.
- 20 Oct 2026 - Added the corrections page after finding eight widely repeated claims with no official source.
- 30 Oct 2026 - Retail-build pass. Rewrote the beginner guide and added collectibles, the Phantom Edge economy, and stealth. Re-checked every page that still carried a preview label: the combat colour cues are now settled, the 66 Days mode is documented properly, and five boss names were corrected. Two preview-era entries turned out not to exist in the shipped game and are marked as such on the corrections page. The buying guide and the genre page were re-verified against the shipped game and launch reviews the same evening.
Questions people actually ask
Is this an official Phantom Blade Zero site?
No. It is an independent guide written by players. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by S-GAME. All trademarks belong to their owners.
Why are there labels on the facts?
Because this game was covered for three years before anyone could play it, and a lot of what got published in that window was inference. Every claim is marked Confirmed, Reported, or Unconfirmed, so you can see how much weight it holds.
Will the pages be updated as the game is played?
Yes. Every page carries an update date. The retail-build pass on 30 October rewrote nine pages and corrected five boss names.
Does the site use official screenshots?
No. It uses no official art, screenshots, or audio. The visual design is built from type, colour, and CSS.
